Snap is officially a real product now! We've introduced paid plans and launched a spiffy new website that better explains how Snap works. We designed our plans to work for teams of all sizes. We've made our website tests a bit smarter, including adding the ability for AI agents use keyboard shortcuts or to submit search bars using the Enter key.

Research shows that AI agents can simulate individual personalities with high accuracy when they’re built from rich, specific input data. So, we're making our AI personas more detailed, realistic, and grounded in your user data. With our new persona builder, you can upload files or paste text about your users. Our system distills that context into a rich persona with personality, goals, and motivations.

In addition to downloading reports, you can now also generate public share links for your tests. While tests remain private by default, share links make it easy to collaborate with your team or clients.

You can now test live websites in Snap! Just paste in a URL and set a task, and a custom AI persona will navigate your website and think out loud like a real user. You'll get a report with recommendations, a video replay, and a transcript.

You can now create and save custom personas that you can reuse across your tests. Personas now also support more context, so you can paste in existing research and documentation about your users to build more accurate AI testers.

You can now export your usability test reports to share them with your team or copy them into your docs and presentations. You can download reports in Word (works with Google Docs) or Markdown format (works with Notion).

We're now securely saving your projects and test results so you can access them across devices (and eventually share them with your team). We now also automatically save draft projects, so you can pick up right where you left off.

We've made it easier for you to run multiple tests on the same prototypes. You can now duplicate and delete existing projects and personas, including drafts and completed tests.

We've launched a new website that explains how Snap works and why you might want to use it. We also designed a new logo!

You can now create accounts and organizations to manage your projects. We added sign up, login, reset password, and settings pages.

We've updated the homepage you see when logged into make it easier to create new projects and view your past tests. We also added a new navigation bar.

We've improved error messages when importing Figma prototypes to provide more helpful and specific troubleshooting tips.

When you import a Figma prototype, we now also allow you to select frames that are inside Sections groups.

We've improved the flow for selecting what screens you want to add to the test. You can now select multiple frames at once and choose the order that you want to test them in.

We've improved the speed of importing Figma prototypes. We also now support larger files with up to 50 top-level frames.

We started exploring a much faster way to get usability feedback. We built a tool that lets you test designs in minutes with no need to schedule sessions or recruit participants. Just upload a prototype and choose the screens you want to test and an AI persona will walk through it like a real user. In about a minute, you'll get a report with feedback and actionable recommendations.
